About Us

The Hawaii Jitterbugs (HJ) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to preserving and promoting vintage styles of swing dancing in Hawaii, including Lindy Hop, Balboa, Charleston, and Shag. We organize and promote lessons, workshops, and social dances in and around Honolulu, Hawaii.

We also teach and perform at special functions and events around O‘ahu (including recent appearances at the Pacific Aviation Museum, the Honolulu Museum of Art, the USS Missouri, and the University of Hawaii). If you are looking for dancers to perform, teach, or DJ at your event, please contact us for further details and availability.
