3-week series starting 2/11
Thursdays 2/11 – 2/25, 7-8pm at Ong King.
$40 for all three weeks, $15 for individual classes with instructor approval.
Come out and learn the Big Apple routine with Brent and Christina: a fun, energetic and dynamic jazz routine choreographed by Whitey’s Lindy Hoppers in the 30’s. It includes plenty of jazz steps that you can incorporate into your Lindy Hop. No partner or experience necessary!

Thursdays 1/14 – 2/4, 7-8pm at Ong King.
$50 for all 4 weeks, $15 for individual classes with instructor approval.

Both Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve fall on Thursdays this year - which means no Thursday dances!

But don't let that get you too down - we've got something else lined up for you!

The next two TUESDAYS we've got dances at Ong King!

That means 12/22 and 12/29, 8pm-11pm at Ong King. Come out and celebrate the holidays in swinging style!

It's that time of year again folks... When schedules get gnarly. Luckily, we have put together a handy holiday schedule so you know when you can dance!

THANKSGIVING:
Dance on Tuesday, 11/24.
NO DANCE on Thanksgiving, Thursday 11/26.

CHRISTMAS:
Dance on Tuesday, 12/22.
NO DANCE on Christmas Eve, Thursday, 12/24.

NEW YEAR:
Dance on Tuesday, 12/29.
NO DANCE on New Year's Eve, Thursday, 12/31.

So enjoy your family, friends, and festivities on Thursdays this holiday season, and come out dancing every Tuesday.

Sad news...
Our Thursday night dance venue, Ong King, will be closing its doors.
Our last night there is TONIGHT, 11/12. Please come out to dance and say goodbye, and feel free to bring something to eat or drink to share.

Good news!

We will be starting a new venue on Tuesday nights!
The location is the club "4 Play" (former Panama Hatties) above Dixie Grill in Aiea.
Every Tuesday, 8-11pm, $5.

The Grand Opening is next Tuesday, 11/17!
We will have LIVE music by the fabulous Hot Club of Hulaville!

For those who haven't already heard, we are pleased to welcome back international instructor David Rehm for a fabulous weekend workshop Nov 14-15 (details below)! This Thursday (Nov 12) is the last day to get the early registration discount, so be sure and catch me at the dance that night. (Payment at the door will be cash only.)

Also, we a have a new venue starting up Tuesday, Nov 17... we'll be sending out more information soon (or check the website for details)!

Black and White Party - All right gang, we have a treat in store for you! We are proud to present The Hot Club of Hulaville playing live music for us this Thursday night, Sept. 3, 8-11pm, at our regularly scheduled dance at Ong King! It's a Black and White Party, so get dressed up, dance shoes on, invite some friends, bring food and drinks if you like, and ready to have an awesome time. We rarely are fortunate enough to get live music, and this time it's not just live music, but these guys are awesome!

Lindy Hop Beginner Series - Join our 6 week Beginner Lindy Hop Series with Brent and Christina. We’ll start off with Charleston and evolve into Lindy Hop, learning how to execute awesome swingouts and give genuine connection with basic lead/follow techniques. We’ll cover the basics, such as starting off a dance, ending a dance with a dip, and all the good stuff in between. The fun starts on August 20, 27, September 3, 10, 17, 24.

Intermediate/Advanced Charleston - What's up our sleeves? We're thinking some hand to hand variations, cool entrances and exits, and tandem (of course). We'll cover techniques to smooth transitions, lead/follow connection, and plain 'ol how to make it look good!
